Who Am I?

My photo

I served in the US Navy from 2002-08; four of those years were as a Nuclear Propulsion Operator aboard an aircraft carrier. I engage in political activism in various Democratic circles when I am able to. I have a cat, and I am an uncle.

All opinions that I express are my own and do not reflect the views of any organization that I represent.

“Geography has made us neighbors. History has made us friends. Economics has made us partners. And necessity has made us allies. Those whom nature hath so joined together, let no man put asunder. What unites us is far greater than what divides us.”
President John F. Kennedy, 17 May 1961, Address to Canadian Parliament
Today our neighbours to the North are celebrating Canada Day.
Tom Brokaw, during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, offered this piece about the relationship between Canada and the United States.
And if you hear anyone trashing our friends up North, show them this clip.
Bonne fête du Canada
