Raising the retirement age?

Allowing health insurance to drop children with pre-existing conditions from insurance plans?

Claiming “buyer’s remorse” for rape victims?

Abolishing the EPA? Department of Education?

Repeal of the 17^th Amendment? How about repeal of the 16^th Amendment? How about repealing the birthright clause of the 14^th Amendment?

Keeping “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” in place and scaling back on LGBT Rights?

Anyone… anyone?

These are some of the platforms that Republican candidates are running on.

Running on these platforms would get a person laughed out of politics.

And yet, despite of their ridiculousness of these platforms, they may win on Tuesday night.
