HAIL YEAH

Hail storm out in Terry County, TX located about an hour southwest of Lubbock.

A STATEMENT FROM DR. SARAH BURGAMY

Dr. Sarah Burgamy, a psychologist from Denver, had this to say about Ken Buck’s statement during his debate on Meet the Press.

I credit another well known psychologist in Denver for sharing this video, Dr. Jennifer Becker.

Dr. Becker is a graduate from Southwestern University with her bachelor’s in Forensics, and received her MA in clinical psychology, specializing in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology specializing in Trauma issues and LGBT GLBT LGBT GLBT issues. Her thesis was on Transgender Group Treatment. It is quite a read. I was most impressed with the amount of information there is out there for the TG community.

Most importantly, Jennifer Becker is my aunt.

HEADLINE FROM THE FUTURE

Michael’s Rant has the ability to look into the future. Utilizing experimental alien technology stolen legally acquired from the military, I can take a youtube clip and look into the future.

MADDOW v. ROBINSON

This is an interview that Rachel Maddow conducted with Art Robinson, the Republican candidate for US House in OR-4 two weeks ago.

Now, don’t worry, fivethirtyeight.com has given incumbent Peter DeFazio a 99.54% of winning the race.

The reason why he was featured on The Rachel Maddow Show was because of the scarcity of Republican candidates to be interviewed on the show and their willingness to defend their positions.

Don’t see my point?

ACTIVISM NEVER TAKES A DAY OFF

CS2 Omar Lopez, a fellow sailor, upon hearing the decision that ruled “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” unconstitutional attempts to re-join the military by walking into the Army officer recruiter office at UT-Austin.

IF YOU'RE GOING TO TALK THE TALK... (CLIFF NOTES)

IF YOU ARE GOING TO TALK THE TALK....

History was made on October 12, 2010.

No… not the Texas Rangers winning their first playoff series in the team’s tortured long history

Earlier in the day, Judge Virginia Phillips ruled that “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” was unconstitutional and issued an injunction halting all discharges and/or investigations regarding this policy.

People… we won!

WE WON!!

WE… wait…?

There’s a FLAG on the play?!

WATTS v. CORNYN: A PREVIEW OF DECISION 2014

Here is a letter I received from Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) or as I like to call him Mr. 0.0% (apparently that gets you an award from the Log Cabin Republicans) regarding the letter I wrote for “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and DREAM.

TODD HILL’S COMMENT ON FORT WORTH CITY COUNCIL MEMBER JOEL BURNS

This piece was written by Todd Hill for the Burnt Orange Report. Mr. Hill is a graduate of Trinity High School and is currently completing his degree in political science from UT-Arlington.

REALLY WITH SETH AND AMY ON DADT

Here is a unique perspective on the vote regarding "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" that took place in the U.S. Senate last month before the election recess:

A LETTER (By John McClelland)

John McClelland is the President of Stonewall Democrats of Denton County, on the Board of Directors of the Denton County Fresh Water Supply District 11-A, and an unapologetic fan and graduate from the University of North Carolina. He recently penned a letter to the Denton Record-Chronicle after this letter to the editor.

A LUCKY ONE (By Isidro Gonzales)

Isidro Gonzales has been very involved in Democratic politics since he was able to vote. Mr. Gonzales received his bachelors in Political Science from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and has utilized it in various political circles.

In April 2010 at the Texas Young Democrats Convention in Austin, he was elected Vice-Chair of the Texas Young Democrats Stonewall Caucus and is actively pursuing the creation of new Stonewall Young Democrat chapters across the state including one in the very Conservative area of West Texas. Within Stonewall, he has been involved in various issues concerning the LGBT Community such as advocating for anti-bullying legislation, increases in rights towards same-sex couples, and the ending of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”

Mr. Gonzales ultimate goal is to become the second openly gay Latino person to be elected to high office.
