A LOOK BACK AT MY POSTINGS COMMERATING PRIDE MONTH

As most of my loyal readers have probably noticed, most of my postings for the month of June have been LGBT related. June is designated as Pride Month, and it was my way of commemorating the event.

I do not feel like I can do the events of Stonewall justice because I feel like I cannot provide the appropriate response for the events. I have asked a good friend who is deeply involved in the LGBT Community in Austin to give the event the proper response it deserves.

The title of this blog comes from a line in former US Senator Larry Craig’s (R-ID) press conference in which he made a statement concerning his arrest for suspicion of lewd conduct in a men’s bathroom at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport back in June 2007. Eventually he entered in a guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.
