If you’ve been a follower of this corner of the internet, I post a picture from the previous week’s NFL action to highlight a player who stood out in my view.
This week I’m going with receiver DeAndre Hopkins in his Cardinals debut against the defending NFC Champion 49ers in a 24-20 upset win. Hopkins caught 14 passes out of 16 targets for 151 yards.
Unfortunately, he did not score a touchdown so that his mom could get a ball. I hope that he saved one of his catches as a gift to her. When the day comes when more people can attend games, I hope she is in the stands and that celebration continues on. He has a reason why he gives his mom his touchdown catches.
