THERE IS REALLY NOTHING MORE TO SAY

No, this is not me ending this writing experiment. Call it a course correction.

What is there really more to say about this president who has (in no specific order of egregiousness): admitted to sexual assault and supported an accused child molester for the special senate election in Alabama, called for his political opponent’s incarceration during a debate, encouraged his supporters to beat up protestors and offered to pay their legal fees, insulted veterans and their families, lumped Muslims as terrorists while refusing to condemn white supremacists as such on several occasions, attacked the press, re-tweeted links to far-right organizations and conspiracy theorists, refused to release his tax returns and will likely benefit from the recently passed Republicans tax plans, used his Twitter to antagonize a country with nuclear weapons, called Mexicans rapists and drug dealers, and violated his oath to support and defend the Constitution the moment he took office.

And this is all before he has completed his first year in office.

If you voted for Trump and continue to support this president, it reveals your true character and what your real values are.

And it is that you have none of those

I can say that history will redeem me and those that understood the consequences of voting for him but why wait that long

I and many others will be stating this now so that history will know that there were people brave and decent enough who were willing to stand up to this president and everything he is doing.

Someone will come across my writings. It might be a historian, a researcher, or even possibly a family member, most likely my niece.

Because history needs to know the truth. It will show that this president was only supported by a minority of people, propped up by an irresponsible press, and relies regularly on his sycophants through his surrogates for continued self-admiration.

I have family members that did vote for this president despite that we share several family members who will be directly impacted by this administration’s policies.

For now, they are awfully quiet about their support of Trump. Mainly for the sake of family unity

But the moment they speak up, I will be one of several to let them know what I think of them

And that is all I will have to say
