2014 NFL SEASON CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY
And
then there were four.
There
is usually not much left to say about the teams remaining. All the stats and
information about the last four are known.
As
for the playoff picks, Ms.
Roberts and I are tied at 6-2. She went 3-1 and my perfect streak ended
with the Cowboys loss followed by the Broncos losing to the Colts at home.
There are three games remaining in the post-season. Two games this weekend and
then the Super Bowl in Phoenix on 1 February.
Here
are the picks for Conference Championship Sunday.
YES WE KLAN
The
114th Congress is in full swing right now.
Representative
John Boehner (OH-8, R) was re-elected Speaker Of The House but his re-election
as speaker was not guaranteed.

2014 NFL SEASON DIVISIONAL ROUND
The
wild card playoff games are done and there are now eight teams remaining. Two
more wins and you are in the Super Bowl. Lose and your team has to wait until
next season for a chance for a championship.
My
bracket
is still intact. For now.
As
for records. I went perfect through the Wild Card Round while Ms. Roberts went 3-1. Her lone
blemish was picking the Steelers.

2014 NFL SEASON WILD CARD ROUND
The
playoffs start Saturday afternoon. I already tipped my hand who I am picking in
the wild card round in a previous post. Now here are they why.
Here
are who my fellow football pickers are picking in the wild card round (Monica Roberts, Luke Roadwalker).

IF LIBERALS ARE SO FUCKING SMART, HOW COME THEY LOSE SO GODDAMN ALWAYS?
The
Election 2014 season concluded with the Louisiana Senate runoffs earlier in
December. As expected Senator Mary Landreau lost. Republicans ended
with a net gain of 9 seats flipping the senate from Democratic control to
Republican control for the first time since the 109th Congress.
Republicans
also increased their majority in the House from 234 seats to 247 seats. It is
the largest
Republican share of seats since the Herbert Hoover administration.
In
addition to gaining control of both chambers of Congress, Republicans
strengthened their holds on governorships and state legislatures. In
Colorado, Governor John Hickenlooper was narrowly re-elected and Democrats were
able to hold on to their majority in the state house. Unfortunately,
Republicans held onto Secretary of State, Treasurer, Attorney General, and were
able to flip control of the state senate to Republican control for the first
time since 2004.
Now
that the circular firing squad among Democrats have subsided, I am here to
offer my thoughts on why we lost.
